The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi invites you to participate in our third
annual OSU Football tailgate party at The Ohio State University vs. Univer-
sity of Southern California football game.
This tailgate is in partnership with the OSU Franklin County Alumni Asso-
ciation and will begin at 4:00 pm. The tailgate will shut down at 7:30pm,
which is 30 minutes prior to kick-off. The tailgate will reopen approxi-
mately 30 minutes after the game ends and will continue until the food is
gone.

The Tailgate Party will take place on the 6 th floor of the Tuttle Park Parking
Garage on Tuttle Park Place (road). Tuttle Park Place runs along the East
side of the stadium. The pedestrian entrance to the parking garage is di-
rectly across the street from football stadium gates 8 and 10. The link be-
low will provide a view of the garage, location and directions. This garage
is reserved parking only. You cannot park in this garage unless you have
purchased a special pass for the season.

Cost for the tailgate is $15 per person (adult) or $5.00 for children 12 and
under. This includes food and drinks both before and after the game. As we
are partnering with the Franklin County Alumni Association it is very im-
portant we receive confirmation of your plan to join us at this function, by
Wednesday, September 9th, in order to determine how much additional
food and beverage will be required.

Additional Event Information
The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi Tailgate is offered in partnership with the
Franklin County Alumni Association Tailgate (FCAA). The location is the 6
th
floor (top) of the Tuttle Park Parking garage across the street from Gate 10 of The
Ohio Stadium. The link below will give you directions and a visual orientation to
the parking garage. There are two different sets of elevators at the garage as well
as stairs. There will be signs posted for both the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi
and the FCAA. The tailgate is spread out from the van and tables of former Asso-
ciate Registrar, Jerry Vance. Jerry parks his scarlet and gray buckeye van on the
top floor of the garage, e has a buckeye flag with the name VANCE embroidered
(vertical orientation on the flag) and his van’s license plate is OSU JV. These are
the items to look for in addition to the signs. Normally, when you exit the stairs/
elevators closest to gate 10 the van is parked straight ahead, midway in the park-
ing garage. If anyone has difficulty finding us, please call Michael Shearer’s

Food and beverage is included in the cost of the tailgate. There are a wide variety
of cold cuts, salads, snacks and desserts. Beverages include water, regular and
diet pop, wine and beer. Please be advised OSU and Columbus City police do
make rounds and there is a no open container law enforced. Adult beverages are
for those 21 and over and cups are provided to pour adult beverages into for con-
sumption. Your care in drinking responsibly is requested and the system has
worked well for the FCAA for over 20 years.
There is NO TV located at this tailgate and it will shut down ½ hour prior to game
time. For those without tickets there will be several large screen TV’s available
outdoors along Lane Ave or indoors at the Longaberger Alumni House on Olen-
tangy River Rd, approx. a 10 minute walk from the Tuttle Park Garage. Due to
the difficulty of leaving the garage after the game, the tailgate will be set up again
½ hour after the game ends and will continue until everyone leaves or the food is
